Yeah, not as flattering on the Soul at all, I’ll concur with you on that one. North American-spec FIAT 500s had an option for a similar color called Mocha a few years back, looks much better on the 500! (Not sure they ever had the same color on Euro 500s, however...)

The tone of the color is lighter on the 500's paint though:

Maybe its because that’s a retro color and the 500 is a retro car, whereas the Soul is very much not retro.
